Who am I?
I was born and raised around the archipelago of Arkösund, outside Norrköping in Sweden. Water has always been around, wether I've been sailing, windsurfing, fishing, paddling or cooling down in it after a tough session.
For me, the ocean always has been a place to find inspiration and to test my limits, both physically and mentally.
In the beginning the sport of sailing didn't charm me at all. I hated it, but my parents were fixed to the idea of making me stick to sailing. Time went by and my love for the sport started growing, a passion started to develop.
At age 16 I moved a long way from home to Motala, where I began to combine my studies with a very determined sailing campaign.
Today, 5 years later I'm more than happy that I was convinced to stick to sailing.
Representing KSSS, the Royal Swedish Yachting club my goal is obvious. I'm obsessed with the dream of achieving gold at the Olympic games.

Sailing is an incredibly diverse sport, switching from offshore sailing and Americas Cup with 70 ft + boats to Olympic dinghy sailing and my "tool" of choice, the Laser. A very physically demanding boat where it's pretty much up to you as a sailor how fast you go. The harder you push, the faster you will go. Therefore I spend my time off the water either in the gym or doing alternative training in some kind of other way.
